Hartley Council No.74 perform the Ceremony of the Red Cross of Babylon
On the 29th October 2022 the District Grand Prefect, R. W. Bro. Peter Christopher Brockbank, was warmly welcomed to the Hartley Council No 74 at Sidcup.
During this unofficial visit, being his own Council, he was treated to a beautifully enacted ceremony of the Red Cross of Babylon, which was performed by W. Bro. Tony Clayton, ably assisted by the Officers and acting Officers of the lodge. The candidates, receiving this degree, were Bro.’s John Jerome, John Deadman and Lee Curtis.

At the request of the Worshipful Master, the District Grand Prefect was pleased to present a Grand Council certificate to Bro. Paul Mayger.

Under the Risings the District Grand Prefect mentioned his recent visits to West Kent Council for the presentation of the 250th Anniversary Keystone Jewel, and to Invicta Council for the dedication of the Council’s new banner, plus attendance at Grand Council, at which Kent members received Grand Rank. Finally, he thanked all the brethren for their warm and friendly company.
