The Paddock Wood Council's No. 88 Annual Sunday Lunch, held at the Wrotham Masonic Centre, was a delightful gathering that brought together thirty one members, family, and friends, including the District Grand Prefect and his wife Toni.

This event has become a cherished tradition, much anticipated after its previous success. The Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Nigel Cash, played a pivotal role in orchestrating another successful annual family luncheon, featuring a sumptuous three-course carvery. Guests enjoyed a variety of meats, including beef, turkey and gammon along with a generous selection of vegetables, starting with a prawn cocktail and culminating in a refreshing lemon posset.

The atmosphere was further enriched by the camaraderie and lively conversations that filled the room, highlighting the strong bonds within the Paddock Wood Council. Members family and friends reminisced about past events while enjoying the present moment, reinforcing the sense of unity and shared purpose that defines the Paddock Wood Council. Additionally, a special recognition was given to the catering staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the event's smooth operation, underscoring the importance of teamwork and dedication. As the afternoon drew to a close, guests left with a sense of fulfilment and anticipation for future gatherings, confident that this beloved tradition will continue to thrive and bring joy to all involved.

The event also included a raffle, expertly managed by Bro. Pete Hayler, with W. Bro. David Barden contributing to the cause by selling raffle tickets. Their combined efforts raised an impressive £155 for Masonic Charities.

In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, W. Bro. Nigel thanked everyone involved and expressed eagerness to host the next annual gathering, continuing this wonderful tradition.
