On Saturday 12th July the District Grand Prefect, R.W.Bro. Brian Ward accompanied by the Past District Grand Prefect R.W.Bro. Peter Brockbank and the Past Past District Grand Prefect R.W.Bro. Clive Manuel (P. Dep. G.M.) attended the Grand Masters Centenary Council No.100 at Mark Mason Hall. Also in attendance from Kent were R.W.Bro. David Viggers, W. Bro. Les Smith and Bro. Peter Hayler.

All, with the exception of Bro. Peter Hayler are members of the Council and were there for the installation meeting of the Council. Prior to the installation ceremony the degree of the Knights of Constantinople was worked with great skill for two members of the Council.

Before the installation of the Deputy Master took place, and in keeping with tradition the Grand Master, M.W.Bro. Thomas Firth Jackson was declared as Master of the Council for the ensuing year.

When the Council had been closed the brethren retired to the bar to enjoy a Champagne reception before settling down to a most enjoyable festive board where good conversation and laughter was in ample abundance.
