News - Congratulations to Clive Manuel on another Prestigious Appointment

The District Grand Prefect R.W.Bro. Brian Ward, his executive and members of the Allied Masonic Degrees in the District of Kent send hearty congratulations to R.W. Bro. Clive Manuel P.Dep.G.M. on his promotion to Deputy Grand Master in the Masonic Order of Athelstan. He was installed in that Office at the recent annual assembly of Grand Court of the Order held at Leicester, on the 25th of October last.

Clive is well known to us all in the Allied Masonic Degrees having been the District Grand Prefect for the District of Kent from 2003 to 2013 before being promoted to Dep Grand Master of the Order in 2014 a post that he held for a period of nine years.

At a grass roots level Clive is a regularly active member of the Ashford Council No.99 which he joined thirty six years ago and even today is quite happy to occupy any office or deliver a lecture when called upon to do so.

In addition to the huge commitment that Clive has given to the Allied Masonic Degrees over the years he has also found time to progress and achieve high rank in many of the other orders including Craft and Chapter.
