District of London Investiture
On Saturday 15th November, a delegation from the District of Kent made a pilgrimage up to London to witness the installation of R.W. Bro. Scott Cargill as District Grand Prefect for the District of London.
With members of the District of Kent having travelled from far and wide (Some even from France!), it was a well-attended delegation, and a superb day was had by all.

The day started with a convivial chat on the train on the way up, followed by 'Official Photos's before the meeting began. Our District Grand Prefect was delighted to be photographed with other District Grand Prefects of the Order, before finally getting to personally congratulate R.W. Bro. Scott on his appointment.

Following the investiture, the Brethren then retired for a relaxing drinks reception, before moving to the Dining Hall for an excellent Festive Board.

Of course, the Most Worshipful Grand Master was in attendance to carry out the proceedings, and he can be seen with his team in the photographs.
In all, a superb day, filled with fun and friendship, the very essence of the Allied Masonic Degrees.
